NEEDTECHS.COM LIES TO THEIR ADVERTISERS!
Selling Services Based on Lies and Manipulated Website Traffic
Statistics to take Money is Deceitful and Fraud! 1. In a broad strokes definition, fraud is a deliberate misrepresentation which causes another person to suffer damages, usually monetary losses. Most people consider the act of lying to be fraudulent, but in a legal sense lying is only one small element of actual fraud. A salesman may lie about his name, eye color, place of birth and family, but as long as he remains truthful about the product he sells, he will not be found guilty of fraud. There must be a deliberate misrepresentation of the product's condition and actual monetary damages must occur. http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-fraud.htm 2. A deception deliberately practiced in order to secure unfair or unlawful gain. http://education.yahoo.com/reference/dictionary/entry/fraud What the owner of needtechs.com, Ron Blicksilver did was manipulate his Alexa website traffic ranking by installing the Alexa toolbar on his work computers and then working from those computers on a daily basis and accessing his website needtechs.com, therefore intentionally manipulating his Alexa rankings and then would sell advertising based on the Alexa rankings being true. Ron Blicksilver made it appear his website needtechs.com had more traffic than all of his competitors when in fact it did not! When Ron Blicksilver the owner of need techs manipulated his Alexa numbers and used the rankings to sell advertising on his website, that was deliberate misrepresentation of the product's condition and is considered FRAUD! What can you do now? You do not have to just sit back and accept the fact of what has happened. There are legal ways to fight back which do not cost any money at all.
