NeedTechs.com is a SCAM JOBSITE!
NeedTechs.com
Exposed for Fraud!

NEEDTECHS.COM LIES TO THEIR ADVERTISERS!

Selling Services Based on Lies and Manipulated Website Traffic Statistics to take Money is Deceitful and Fraud!

The statements made here are true facts, they come directly from the owner of needtechs.com, Ron Blicksilver.

I learned of his ways while I was employed with with him for a very short time.
On July 20th, 1998, Ron Blickslver was employed for an large and successful automotive employment job board. Less that one year later, Ron decided to start his own automotive employment job board while still employed with his current employer and under a 5 year non-compete agreement.

I have known Ron since the start of his automotive employment website business in 1999 and have been in regular contact over the years with him. In February 2006, Ron asked me to come to work for his company need techs. Shortly after being employed with need techs, I learned about several misleading and dishonest ways the company has been being doing business over the years; due to this and other reasons I shortly left his company not wanting to be associated with dishonest company.

The information contained below are true facts and what I was told and taught to do while working for Ron Blicksilver's company.

Let's talk about Alexa.com. For anyone that has ever called needtechs.com to ask about advertising and what makes his site better than other sites, Ron will give his Alexa.com sales pitch.

Ron will take you to alexa.com and have you enter the website yahoo.com to show you that their ranked #1 on the Internet based on Alexa rankings. Then Ron will have you enter some of his competitors sites so you can see how they rank, then he will ask you to enter his website needtechs.com to show you how his Alexa ranking is lower in count (meaning better) than his competitors websites.

The truth about alexa.com is, anyone can manipulate their Alexa ranking to make it appear they have more traffic than other sites by simply installing the Alexa toolbar on the computers they work from daily. By installing the alexa.com toolbar and accessing your website daily (which Ron does), Alexa thinks you have all that additional traffic coming to your website and therefore, you get a better Alexa ranking (so it appears).

This is exactly what Ron Blicksilver, the owner of needtechs.com has been doing for years. If you have ever spoken with him regarding advertising, I am sure you can remember the alexa.com sales pitch. The truth is, alexa.com website rankings are far from true and easily manipulated. Ron Blicksilver once told me that "Alexa numbers are a bunch of crap". I once did a test and installed Alexa on my own computer and accessed my personal website for a period of two months. I was able to bring my Alexa rankings down from over 2,000,000 to 325,000 in that short amount of time.

Stuff to think about:

NeedTechs.com website states it is "
The Worlds Largest, Most Experienced Automotive Technician Job Search & Auto Employment Website!", if this is the truth, then why would he have to manipulate his Alexa rankings and use them as a selling tool.

Has Ron ever told you about the people he hired around the country that work from home? Has he mentioned Cindy? Or Anthony, the guy who lives in Hawaii that works on the beach sending photos of girls from his laptop? None of them are true, they have never existed! It's just Ron Blicksilver telling more lies to sell his services.

His business was started back in 1999 out of his bedroom and to this day he still works from his house. You would think he would have an actual real office by now being the so called "
The Worlds Largest, Most Experienced Automotive Technician Job Search & Auto Employment Website!".

Throughout his entire website on the top of each page, he states this is the "
10th Year". According to the domain name registration information his website needtechs.com was registered on February 24th 1999 at 05:00:00. If you subtract the year 2007 from 1999, you will get only 8 years. So why is the website misleading people about how many years he has been in business? Can Ron not do subtraction? Or does he not have a calculator? Better yet...Just another lie to advertisers to make them feel they are dealing with a long term company.

How to Tweak Alexa Rank

NeedTechs.com Real Web Site Rankings:

Let's first look at his alexa.com ranking:

Needtechs.com alexa ranking as of September, 9th, 2007 was 82,101.  Not to shabby, I am sure this number will start to climb after he sees this webpage.

UPDATE: As of December 30th, 2009 NeedTechs.com Alexa rank is now 977,410.  What a difference now.  This clearly shows he has been caught and has now removed the Alexa toolbar from his office PC's.  YOUR LITTLE GAME IS UP RON BLICKSILVER!

Now lets look at some traffic ranking websites that cannot be manipulated by installing a tool bar on your computer.

Quantcast.com - Current ranking for needtechs.com: 186,638 on September 9th, 2007

Snapshot.Complete.com - This site states there are only a little over 6,200 people visiting per month on September 9th, 2007.  That's about 119 people per state in the US per month.  And this is "The Worlds Largest, Most Experienced Automotive Technician Job Search & Auto Employment Website!"?

Imagine that!  Alexa.com beats them all out by far!  It is amazing what you can do with a toolbar installed on your computer and work in your website daily.

If you decided to contact Ron and ask why he would do such a untruthful act, he is going to have a good sales pitch to try and convince you to spend your money with him.  Just remember, the website rankings above do not lie! And if you have spoken with Ron in the past, you probably remember the Alexa sales pitch.

The shady needtechs.com website may work for some, but before you spend your hard earned money on a position you need to fill right away, you may want to look elsewhere and not take the chance and wasting your time and money on this scam website and owner!

HA! HA! FAT BOY! Your Lies are Falling Apart Ron Blicksilver! HA! HA! FAT BOY!

If you ever call needtechs.com and talk Ron, ask him to show you some real traffic statistics such as UNIQUE VISITORS from a website than cannot be manipulated like Quantcast.com. Unique Visitors are REAL traffic statistics and show how many different (unique) visitors have gone to a website, not some "Traffic Ranking" number like on Alexa.com which means nothing!

Better yet, because need tech would never show you their real (unique visitor) traffic, because they have very little, we will show you here:

If you take a look at the unique traffic graphs above for craigstlist.com, monster.com, and  needtechs.com you can clearly see need tech does not even compare.  Monster.com bar far exceeds the traffic even of craigslist.com which is one of the most popular free advertising sites on the web.

Now why would you want to invest in advertising with needtechs.com, you money is better spent on a real job board like Monster.com.  We won't even mention traffic for needtechs other website needautomotivejobs.com, that site is nothing.  It is a complete failure on need techs part.

So do you really believe that needtechs.com is "The Worlds Largest, Most Experienced Automotive Technician Job Search & Auto Employment Website!" YEA RIGHT!

To prove this graph is not fake, click the link below to see it live just as we have embedded it here in this webpage:

In Closing:
If Ron Blicksilver tells you that this website is all a bunch of lies, then ask him about when he and his company Need Techs were caught and
fined for TAX FRAUD by the IRS.

Ron Blicksilver was trying to hide money in an offshore account in the Bahamas when he got caught by the IRS. Ron Blicksilver ended up refinancing his home/office to pay the IRS back because he knew he got caught!

Ron Blicksilver tried to lie to the IRS and got caught! Do you think he would not lie to you to take your money? The only difference is that it is harder for you to catch him, that's why we created this site to educate you before you get taken.

Let's not forget about the Automotive Dealership Jupiter Dodge Mazda in which Ron Blicksilver registered the companies domain name JupiterDodgeMazda.com in 2003 and held for ransom until they paid his selling price.

Ron Blicksilver owner of NeedTechs.com is deceitful and practices shady and unethical business practices in which to benefit only himself, Ron Blicksilver.
